DMCA & Content Removal

How rights holders and creators can ask us to remove an example post, reference clip, sound or generated video.

Third-party examples on our pages

To show what a trend looks like, some pages on Reelsame display posts by other creators from TikTok, X, YouTube or Instagram. Each one is credited to its creator and links back to the original post. Where the platform offers an official embed, we use it, so the post stays hosted by that platform. We do not claim ownership of these posts.

Ask us to remove something

If you are the creator or rights holder of a post, clip, sound or image shown on Reelsame, or you are authorized to act for them, email support@reelsame.com with the subject "DMCA" and include:

  1. the URL of the page on Reelsame where the material appears;
  2. the original work you own, or a link to it;
  3. your name, and how we can contact you;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

If you are a creator who simply wants your post taken off our page, items 1–3 are enough. We will not argue.

What happens next

We acknowledge within one business day and remove the material within 48 hours of a valid request. If the material is a reference clip behind an effect, we take that effect offline until we can replace the clip. We reply to tell you what was removed.

Counter-notice

If something you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our removal email with the same details plus a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification. We restore it within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who repeatedly upload material they do not have the right to use.
